Fun loving, cheerful and positive, Gus is the all-around nice-guy. He tends to be a bit of a slob, leaving messes and failing to clean up after himself which drives his roommate, Linus, up the wall. He’s a fan of science-fiction, comic-books and movies. He works at Cosmic’s Realm of Comics where he first met Linus. He has a crush on their other roommate, Mindy, but is often too absorbed in his comic-books, movies and Western Cowboycheese Superburgers to do anything about it.

Linus is your typical controlling neat-freak and hypochondriac. His greatest fear is the culmination of germs breeding into an evil army that will overrun all that he loves leaving nothing but pestilence in its wake. Other than that, he’s a very negative person, failing to see any positives in any situation. He is very intelligent, and- as Gus suspects, that is the reason why he is such a cynical person. Like Gus, he works at Cosmic’s Realm and has a great love of comic-books. But where Gus will tear open the latest issue of Captain Commander, Linus is much more anal and meticulous, keeping any oil, debris or bacteria from marring the cover of such a precious collectible.

Cute, charming, sweet, care-free and fun-loving, Mindy is also foul-mouthed and vulgar which makes a strangely irresistable combination. While definitely all woman, she’s just one of the guys, ready to engage in loogie contests or gross-out stories (which she will inevitably win). All that said, you just can’t help but love her. Mindy likes Gus, but believes that he should make a move- she will voraciously flirt with complete strangers in her attempt to move Gus to ask her out. Working at Chupa’s Bar, she is a wealth of funny stories and loves to both tell and hear them. Her dog Molly and all of her germs are an enormous source of frustration for Linus.

A regular fixture at Gus & Linus’ place, Delbert is an old buddy, although neither Gus or Linus remember exactly who’s old buddy he is. They enjoy his company for the most part, nonetheless. The best words to describe him would be blaise, plain, ordinary and dull. He lacks passion about anything and is very monotone in his personality. He never gets excited, angry, sad, happy. He’s just there. He’s a low-level bean-counter for Consolidated Financial Enterprises, Incorporated and isn’t terribly sure what he does there. He hates his job, but does it because he seems to be good at it... or at least because they haven’t fired him.

Jecilia is Mindy’s workmate at Chupa’s, usually on-shift whenever Mindy is not. She’s cute, cheerful and bubbly, often sarchastic with customers. Her little habits include freqently shouting “Hello” from across the bar multiple times to customers- even those who have been there for a while. She loves making shooters, or “delicious treats” as she calls them and sharing them with her regulars. Along with Mindy, she is one of the favorite bartenders in town.

Andy is a regular at Chupa’s Bar. Hailing from Scotland, he’ll often spin yarns about his days spent at the pubs and on the football (soccer) fields and golf courses of his home country. With a thick Scottish accent, the average person can understand about 75 percent of anything he is saying at any given time. After he’s had a few beers, however, that percentage is drastically reduced to around 30 percent and all bets are off.

Phil is a long-time customer at Cosmic’s Realm of Comics where he originally met both Gus and Linus and quickly became friends. His knowledge of comics is second only to perhaps Gus, however where Gus’ favorite super-hero is Captain Commander, Phil prefers the much darker Knight-Bird. His trademark “BAM!” is the punchline to all of the one-liners in his extensive repertoire of wise-cracks and is often heard at the comic shop.
